Las Gaviotas beach is a cove located in the town of San Andrés, in the district of Anaga and belongs to the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
It is a small black volcanic sand beach nestled at the foot of a cliff, very close to Las Teresitas beach. It is reached by the Las Gaviotas road that starts from the TF-121, be very careful, it is a narrow two-way road and a bit complicated.
The cove of volcanic origin is also known for being suitable for nudism, as well as for practicing sports such as surfing or bodyboarding, which makes it a popular beach among the youth of Tenerife. If you want to feel the fresh water of the sea or you like those sports, it is the perfect beach.

When taking a bath on the beach, look at the color of the flags that the authorities place and if it is red, do not bathe as the sea will be in poor condition and do not risk your life.
